Meet our Leadership
I am a husband, father, and pastor. In 1978, I placed faith into Jesus Christ. After several years of wandering, I finally settled in to a growing relationship with Jesus during my college years. Though I was raised in church, I questioned everything and rarely received answers that seemed logical. During my time at Union University, I established a regular time in scripture and prayer.
In the Fall of 1992, I moved to Fort Worth, TX to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While working toward my Masters in Divinity I began dating Dulcie Rogers. We married in 1994 and both graduated from Seminary in 1997. We served Oklahoma Baptists from 1996 to 2014 in various churches and positions in the state. God called us to Texas in the Summer of 2014 and serve Coulter Road Baptist Church.
We have two teenagers: Samuel and Isabella. I am very thankful to God that both have placed faith and Jesus and followed Him in baptism. However, the job continues. It is now our duty to make disciples that make a difference out of each of them. When we are not helping with homework, crafts, sports or other, I enjoy golf, woodworking and reading. I currently write a blog at http://theintersect.us.
Dulcie began serving as our childhood minister in August 2014. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design, and also is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Communication & Public Relations.
Lori served as our financial secretary from 2010 to 2015. In the Fall of 2015 she transitioned in to her current position as our business administrator. She and her husband, David, have five children, Celeste, Kristen, Naomi, Jarek & John Mark. They also have one wonderful granddaughter named Trinity. Lori oversees our finances, as well as our support & janitorial staff, and we’re glad to have her as part of our ministry staff at CRBC!
Marilyn has served on our staff since December 1991. Hers is the friendly voice you hear each time you call CRBC. She and her husband, Gary, a teacher at Amarillo High School, have four children and numerous grandchildren. We’re honored to have Marilyn serving on our staff, and she considers it a joy to be able to be the first person many people at CRBC meet!
