“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12, NLT).
The goal of our Childhood Ministry is to engage boys and girls and their families with the Good News of Jesus, helping them grow into a mature relationship with God. They will be given the opportunity to develop relationships with loving and caring adults and other kids while learning, serving and fellowshipping at church. We work to provide appealing spaces, smiling faces, and engaging content to welcome children to church. There are multiple opportunities each week for kids to connect at Coulter Road.
Sunday Mornings: 3 years-6th Grade
On Sunday mornings, your child will love participating in a Sunday School class that is age appropriate at 9:15am where they will participate in the Gospel Project. The Gospel Project for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
Wednesday Nights: 3 years-6th Grade
On Wednesday evenings, we enjoy a low-cost meal together for the whole family beginning at 5:30 p.m. B.L.A.S.T. (Bible Learning and Skills Too) is our Wednesday night discipleship program for preschoolers – 6th grade that begins at 6:15 p.m. We learn Bible truths and skills. We reinforce the concepts they are learning through game time, large group time and small group time with kids their age.
Nursery: Birth-3 years
Our nursery is kept Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights by our wonderful paid staff and volunteers. Even babies can be taught who Jesus is, and we make sure that is central to our efforts here at CRBC. We follow a strict “two-deep” policy that ensures at least two background-checked adults are actively supervising all rooms with minors.
